ASC Engineered Solutions Introduces New Line of Carbon Steel Press Fittings for Plumbing & Mechanical Applications

Extensive Product Line Includes Over 400 SKUs

Oak Brook IL, December 20, 2023 – ASC Engineered Solutions is introducing a brand new line of carbon steel press products – SCI Press – Carbon Steel - for plumbing and mechanical systems. With more than 400 individual SKU’s, covering both residential and commercial applications, it is one of the most extensive carbon press product lines available to the industry, and comes fully supported by free access to BIM and Revit content from ASC-ES.

The SCI Press – Carbon Steel product line from ASC Engineered Solutions, features a full range of elbows, tees, reducers, caps, adapters, couplings, and unions, providing reliable and economical pipe connections for carbon steel systems.

Available now in sizes 1/2" to 2”, and up through 4” later in 2024, these products meet industry regulations for press fittings, including NSF 61, IAPMO and ASME standards, and are approved for use with natural gas and EPDM compatible fluids.

Installation is simple and can be done using standard press tools and jaws. The yellow or green marking on SCI Press carbon steel product exteriors mark the proper pipe insertion depth. The yellow exterior marking indicates the product has a ribbed HNBR sealing element that provides a consistent seal on uneven surfaces; the green exterior marking indicates that the product has a ribbed EPDM sealing element and can be used with EPDM compatible fluids.
