FPPI Kydex Ring is for use as a backing material behind sprinkler escutcheons. 4" diameter covers most oversize holes (including oversize holes in ceiling materials to meet seismic requirements) cut in ceiling material during installation or ceiling material replacement. Kydex is a fire-resistant material made by Cleardex. May be cut to install around an existing sprinkler drop.
